The first Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting of the CFGORRP/DHM was held on 12 September 2016, under the chair of Dr. Bishwa Nath Oli, Secretary, Ministry of Population and Environment at Hotel Himalaya, Lalitpur. The PSC meeting was attended by Ms. Shophie Kemkhadze, Deputy Country Director-UNDP Nepal and representatives from MoHA, MoF, MoFALD, MoFSC, MoI, MoTCA, NPC, WECS, DNPWC, DSCWM, DWIDM, UNDP and NGO Federation Nepal.

Dr. Rishi Ram Sharma, Director General/National Project Director, DHM/CFGORRP provided a welcome remarks and shed light on the project objectives. Then after, Mr. Top B Khatri, National Project Manager, made a detailed presentation of the achievements made so far.

Providing her closing remarks, Ms. Sophie Kemkhadze, DCD, UNDP welcomed comprar viagra cialis o levitra genericos and appreciated the support received from the Government and Project partners in realizing the Project objective. She was of the opinion that the project was conscious and took an adaptive management approach while dealing with the issues and challenges. Dr. Bishwa Nath Oli, Chair, providing his concluding remarks, opined that the Project Steering Committee will have to meet regularly in order to update the members about the progress, issues and challenges so that strategic guidance could be provided. The Chair congratulated the DHM and the PMU for successfully brining the project to this stage and emphasized the need towards replicating the lessons generated by the project. He also requested development partners to join hands in furthering the mitigation works that warrant immediate attention. He then formally closed the first Project Steering Committee meeting.
